Doesn't Musk also own space? At least the space his satellites are in, which is a lot of space.

But I thought this SpaceX project was going to be the greatest thing in Louisiana history.
At least that's what I read on Tigerdroppings.

So we, and by we, I mean Landry, traded away the billion plus free dollars from the BP settlement designated for the coastal master plan for $100 million, all in the name of “protecting porpoises.”
I had to check if this was El Gaucho. It seemingly mixes unrelated things and gets them wrong.
These are two different issues. 100 million of the BP money had been allocated to LA (since like 2011?)
Separately this land was sold to spaceX for another $100m.(though not sure that’s even accurate as the ownership structure)
Both are funds to the state. SpaceX deal has no bearing on the BP multiple settlement funds.
This means more coastal restoration money, efforts and now a powerful stakeholder with a real financial reason to help shore up the coast

They should go to the local bank and start building trailer parks for all the new workers to live during construction.
Camps are already being spruced up to rent as AirBnB.

Plus, what SpaceX will be doing to armor the coast in that area.

Jeff Landry did all this under the table wheeling and dealing to get this deal in place just for Elons h1bs to make Bobby jindal the governor again. I hope he filled his pockets at least

It was closer to 5 billion but feel free to round down if it helps your argument.

100 million is less than billions my dude. Math hurts.

What is your argument here? The BP Oil spill money is still being used. I believe that most of the $5 billion has already been allocated to projects.

7.29 billion total but still 100% independent issue to SpaceX. Apples and oranges in different fruit baskets. Not sure what you are even trying to string together as an argument
