It’s truly amazing what can be accomplished when the government is not in control.

This quite literally wouldn't be possible without the US government, but I get your gist.

, Musk himself said getting away from the launch pad before blowing up would be a success.

It was very impressive. His ideas and execution aren't the problem I have with him, it's his overpromise and under deliver routine. He did the exact opposite today.

And the sonic boom
That shite right there was wild.

And yes, they came down SO fast. They first appeared way up in the sky for about 5 seconds and then weren't bright enough to see. Next thing I know they're bright as hell at the horizon and then, BOOM BOOM.

Just AWESOME!

The sonic booms coming off the landing boosters was SWEET. 2 Double booms! I was standing at the SSPF watching it.

Nah, I think they knew they lost it. That's why they cut so quickly after landing.

The vibration usually knocks out the antenas on the drone ship and you don’t get to see the videos until they make it back to port. They didn’t cut the feed

Wasn't talking about the drone ship feed, was talking about their broadcasting feed. They were just like, bye folks and shut that shite down.

The tweets from SpaceX and Elon Musk have said nothing about the center core. Considering how quickly they've announced things about the side cores, and tweets since then, I'd imagine the center core had a bad fate.

Elon Musk
Elon Musk
@elonmusk
Upper stage restart nominal, apogee raised to 7000 km. Will spend 5 hours getting zapped in Van Allen belts & then attempt final burn for Mars.

I'm sure if the center was successful, there would be a tweet out stating so. So many people cut off so fast about its fate.
If it was not successful, they will gather the right statements and release them a little later.
