I don’t really buy souvenirs but when I visit a new golf course I always buy a divot tool with their magnetic ball mark. Have a nice little collection.

I had no idea what they were until years later. Still have them in a box at my mom’s house.
Nowadays it’s stickers and magnets. And photos that are displayed and used to make calendars for the following year

Couple of vials of sand from Omaha beach. A 105mm shell plus two 40mm shells from a bofors cannon I scored from some snake eater on my last deployment. He was a civilian contractor type looking for a ride home back to the states. He was stuck in some weird state of purgatory and needed a ride home. I gave him the ride he needed, but had to bargain with the enlisted crew members for those shells. I bought a lot of beers.

I travel all over the world for work. When the kids were younger I got them stuffed animals. Now they they are older, my daughter likes tea cups. My wife likes ceramic decorations. My son likes local candy.
Sometimes I’ll grab them clothes. My son got a new Brazil soccer jersey last month. I don’t really get anything for myself.

I got a piece of opal rough from Australia, conch shell from BVI i found scuba diving, a piece of marble from the grounds of the Acropolis and various shells from beaches.
