This could be a euphemism for "my mom is a whore."

was like 7 for the May flood but if I remember correctly it was a two day event. This was 7-8 inches in 7 hours.

6 hours in rain where I lived.

We lived two blocks from west napoleon canal and had 2 feet of water in the house

In fairness, most of us would rather pay more for Delta/United/American than fly with what has become a discount airline in every way except price.

When did this happen?

I’m not sure the time of the tornado, but I live close to Fry and Kingsland and woke up at 3:00 to a terrible storm. Whistling wind, lots of thunder, nearly constant lightning strikes.

Move the map down to South LA, zoom in, click on the weather station you want, click on "3 Day", move to the column on the far right.

I will look at the storm total Doppler radar estimate. Some people will say it will over perform. Some places in New Orleans by the I-10 High Rise got nearly 10 inches.

Yeah, I use radar to get a ballpark during a storm. The NOAA site I posted has every NOAA weather station there is on it. You can view them as they update, every five minutes or so for some.

You would like the wX app, too. It is free and a lot more convenient than the various websites. Type in "wX" or "wX app" in your app store.

Is it Eye Vee Waster or Four Waste?

Also respect, our garbage pickup uses any weather event to delay pickup day.

Yea I set an empty bucket out in the farm shop parking lot and it had about 15 in it. Fields flooded all over in the delta, I imagine several corn crops will be replanted. Tough luck for those guys, this year was going to be tough anyways due to low grain prices

Just wanted to thank you, Boat and the other Wx experts posting and keeping us updated and informed, as well as those reporting valid local observations.

It’s become an invaluable resource for me.

Thanks
