A corridor of locally heavy snow, with up to 1 inch per hour snow rates, will be noted from east Texas into northern Louisiana.

Snowing pretty hard here. Have about 1/2 inch accumulation now. Probably will have 2-3 inches by tomorrow morning

I've got maybe an inch or so on the ground but its really tailed off to a few flurries now and I'm a bit salty looking at the Many/Natchitoches area.

You need heavier precip to fall to keep it frozen it looks like. A little evaporation will cool things enough to keep it from melting. It gets light, not enough evaporation of stuff falling and warmth aloft is enough to melt.

I figured y'all would be in the heavier stuff longer though, so it might pick back up.

temp just dropped like 2 degrees within an hour in BR, sitting around 37-38

problem is it gets warmer as you go higher up right now
