That's a 10:1 ratio. No way this heavy wet snow is 10:1.

The NWS predicted last night the ratio would fall between 6:1 and 9:1

Snow got within 10 min from me. Only sleet, and the precipitation is just about over.

Yeh we prolly already have gotten 2 to 3 inches and its still coming down. Its coming down the same as it looked in Michigan when it would snow (granted the snow there never stopped coming down ) but if it keeps it up, no doubt it will result in a lot of snow for La.

The 10:1 is a loose ratio. A heavy wet snow can be a considerably lower ratio.

Youngsville is cold, windy and raining. Not sure how far we are from any kind of ice but it feels colder in my freezer than I am by the bbq pit. Good luck to y’all baws in the snow!
