Flying in from east cost connecting in ATL tomorrow afternoon. Should I expect anything exciting?

There will be thunderstorms in the area. That's all I can really say. North GA is in the slight risk tomorrow and it will be rolling through in the afternoon.

There was no warning on the storm at this point. Not even a severe thunderstorm. Don't think there's any injury reports at this point.

That’s what hammered us. I’ve heard high wind before but there really was an audible difference with what smacked us. Like a mechanical, loud whooshing noise. We got lucky.

Little off topic, but seeing a cold snap next weekend. Do y’all think it materializes?

Looks like we’re going to get the nastiest bit of this tomorrow afternoon. Hoping I don’t have too much wind damage. They’re talking about 70-80 mph wind gusts and widespread power outages.

This is the area that has by far the highest risk of severe weather tomorrow thanks to the low occluding and moving farther north into Indiana that previously modeled. It will likely be a very active day from North AL through the eastern half of TN, much of KY, & southern IN/OH.

Yeah, I haven't mentioned it, but KY and northern TN could have a rough day tomorrow. Those cells have been pretty consistent run-to-run on the HRRR.

The Climate Prediction Center continues to forecast below average temps for most of the country for the mid-March timeframe, so I think it certainly has a shot. Not sure how cold it’ll be, but it’ll be a change from what we’ve had the last few weeks.

I don’t get the joke with this. You post this in every three or so severe weather threads.
