ish maybe a little later than that. But it's going to lose a lot of energy in that part of the line by that time through central Louisiana

NWS Shreveport
@NWSShreveport

Here are areas that we will be investigating for tornado damage in the coming days from our first round of severe weather. More damage will be possible with the line of storms moving across the area tonight. If you have damage, please let us know in the comments.

Pulling for a front this time of year is a Bold strategy.

Line starting to bow right down I-20 near Longview. Heading towards Shreveport.

Looks like this has been a bust compared to the hype

Damage reports all over DFW. Winds wreaked havoc on homes, power lines and fences. Not to mention the expect trampoline tosses in every neighborhood.

I've been waiting for that part of the line to make a push. Kind of thought it would when it stayed together. At least it isn't a broken line with cells.

I wouldn't be surprised if there's some serious flash flooding up north. West of Little Rock has just been getting dumped on. The front is moving so slow right now and it widens out up there. Just training over that area.

Almost 3"/hr rates SW of Russellville. Approaching 6" of total rainfall.

Hey Legend just to chime in not knowing what has been posted, after most in Madison County had passed last night, at the last second Walnut Grove east of Hazel Green had a touchdown f-1. We were discussing a misinformation with nws-Huntsville. Is that on us for doubting Nws Huntsville ?

I’m just a citizen you should know that. But I heard Brad Travis after I got out of bed say winds right above Hazel Green were heavy. They were obviously.

We discussed that tornado in here baw. We saw the couplet and CC drop for one scan.

Here’s what HUN said today:

WHILE THIS TORNADO WAS VERY NARROW AND VERY SHORT-LIVED

It was extremely brief. It lasted all of one scan.

The damage was reported as New Market but it wasn’t that far east.
It was a bit significant and 10 miles within the Tennessee line.

I'm 3 miles east of downtown and didn't get much. Lights flickered a few times and a plant I bought yesterday that was still in it's plastic container got blown over but it was just an average storm. The News hyped this up so much, as usual, it put feeble minds on edge.

That was a legit spin-up. Not much anyone could do with it. It looked benign, next frame had a couplet and debris signature, and the next frame it was gone.

Some just can't be caught.

I appreciate the help on this board but the condescending nature of 75% of it really sucks.

That’s why I chimed in. It was really brief but did real damage. Not to me but really close.
