Just got our Wind Advisory (Louisville, KY) for 2 pm tomorrow through 7:00 am Wednesday.

We just had a new roof put on two weeks ago.

And on the northern side of this system, a blizzard is ongoing.

We have had about 3 cells roll through here in the Ms delta that were pretty rough. Lots of wind, lightning and one had small hail

I don't know if Pedro is incredibly happy with that placement or incredibly sad.

Temp has dropped two degrees here and the dewpoint has held steady at 53. Wind is picking up some, gusting to 18 mph. So far, a lot has to change in order for severe storms to develop. That low/boundary has to arrive in order for anything significant to occur otherwise it'll remain simply a cool, damp winter day.

Does this go for the stuff that is supposed to develop later tonight/early morning on the gulf coast as well?

Tell us you’re a teacher/admin without telling us

Why would a teacher complain about not having to work?

I"m more irritated that i had to cancel basketball practice tonight. If you don't want to drive in whatever weather there might be, then you are welcome to stay home.

and i didn't say we shouldnt' cancel anything, simply that you should say what your cancellation plan will be in the case of bad weather, and when you'll make that decision to cancel. And if the weather is as bad as predicted, then you move forward with whatever plans for cancellations you had.

For instance. Don't cancel school tomorrow right now. Simply say we are leanign towards cancelling so be prepared to cancel. We will make a decision via email/text/whatever at 6:00am tomorrow morning.

How do I get the Kenner radar site? That’s a lot better than depending on mobile or lake Charles

Not sure. I'm on RadarScope. The TDWR is actually in Norco.

its weather like this that makes me really curse my builder for not putting enough plastic under my carport slab to keep it from seeping water.
