Our local PD mainly posts about "major" (as major as you can get with 11k residents) and their K9, Blue. Even Harris and FB County Sheriffs seem pretty restrained compared to the cringe you're describing.

That's the issue. these are multi million dollar rentals being rented under their parents names with no one over the age of 21 even present.

Walton County is not Ft. Walton.
Walton County is Miramar Beach.
Miramar Beach is nice. I'd describe it as not as pretentious as Seaside and Sandestin, but nicer than Destin, Pensacola, etc.
Anyway, it's not a place that will put up with college aged groups causing problems.

They didn't show up and tell us to disperse, they showed up and started firing teargas into the crowds (the entire neighborhood was a party. Every street had a beer truck from Mockler at the dead end. When the cops arrived, the street I was on had already finished off three trucks and was waiting for the fourth to arrive).
The campus was filled with people being led around by a friend because they had bandages covering their eyes from the teargas the following Monday.
