Sick, sick people in this world!

Please Lord, let the person(s) responsible be apprehended.

That is the horrible thing when you see little girls have been kidnapped. You know what the outcome is going to be and why.

Our country needs torture as a possible criminal punishment.

From that article

quote:

On Thursday morning, police said they had towed two cars from the home where the child lived.

Sgt Evan Antley with the Cayce Department of Public Safety confirmed the vehicles were removed from the home but didn't share details of anything that 'may of may not have been found in those vehicles'.

Something stinks here.

True, I assume it’s just distorted in the pic.

I can certainly see both sides of this issue. The problem is, if amber alerts go out every time police are notified that a kid is missing then nobody is going to pay attention to them.

I get it but this seems like a great time to use it, it has all the makings of something very very wrong.

Whereas usually it's a latino dude taking back his kid for 24 hours, he gets arrested, kid is fine like 99% of the time. I'm not faulting Amber Alerts in those scenarios because you never know - but that's the fact pattern that causes people to ignore them (and to be clear, most people already do ignore them).

Updated OP. Body found and it is her. Investigation has turned now to a homicide.

Case is getting even more complicated. Body of deceased adult male found in area during search. Did not say if related to now homicide

Ditto. Thankfully, this really is one of the rarest crimes in our country.

Because they go off in the middle of the night for someone who went missing 300 miles away. That is not an exagerration. Narrow the geographic range and exclude custody disputes unless there's some indication the child is in imminent danger.

Anyone who has the ability to kidnap a 6 year old and kill them (if that is what happened) they do not deserve to live.

As a parent that has a child that get's on and off the school bus exactly like this little girl, it hits home. Man I hope they get the son of a bitch that did this.

I don't know what the solution is really. I mean, I get that someone can get on an interstate and be 100 miles away quickly. And despite my prejudice in disregarding the hispanic ones, I don't think you can eliminate using AAs for that.

If there was some quick way to label the alerts as non-familial, I think that would help a little. I think people immediately know the significance of that.

Amber alert

There was no need for an Amber Alert in this case. The cops said pretty quickly that there was no signs of an abduction.

Where did you see this?

What does a sign up abduction mean?

She disappeared without a trace. How is that not a sign of a possible abduction?
