At least in what I could tell. Since the towns were overwhelmingly white, and minority’s already kept to themselves, I found that the white population (my family included) tended to be just flat out ignorant on race relations. However they were also by far more vocal on the issue which was strange due to their lack of real world interaction with other races
Exactly. We have more interaction with different races in the South. I knew a few people when I was in the Army that came from places up North or in the Midwest that had no or very little Black people in their school. One guy had 1 Black person in his graduating class. He was from Idaho.

Hyper accurate indeed

Boston isn’t racist. They just hate everyone not from Boston. Hell, they hate everyone not from their part of Boston. They’re just flat out assholes. There’s a reason I call Massachusetts Mass of Two Shits. They suck as people.
Lol. Boston is racist as frick.

The OT, where racism is dead and black people need to STFU about it, but also the north is very racist

this is maybe the 100th time or more I've read this post in 10 years. It's still not any more true.

Im not sure if race relations are worse in the north, but they definitely allow BLM rioters to get away with a lot more

Because in the South even the real racists will hate the people rather than the individual. They'll call em a group of N*****s and then have black folks in their home.
Where as up north they claim to love the people but treat the individual like shite.
I don't get it.
A man is a man. A woman is a woman. Trash is trash.

Those gross Jersey accents were accurate though

Not just NJ but PA and NY too and you're right it was pretty spot on.

Some of the most racist people i've ever met in my life were from New York and the Midwest.

I haven’t ever really experienced or seen racism where I’ve been

This is an extension of the racism of the sixties and early seventies. In the south racist for the most part didn’t mind if blacks lived near by they already did. They just didn’t want to see them as equals.
In the north the racist didn’t mind the blacks being equal as long as they weren’t near by.
It is easier to judge a mans character if you can look him in the eye
