Ohhhh trips to Europe, Disney every 4 years, snow skiing, beach trips 2x a year, eating out 1/2 the time. $400 a month cable bill. Tailgating every LSU game.

Oh I have fun. Just in moderation for a better tomorrow which is right about now. Looking for my dream carbed Ferrari 308 now. Maybe a 328. Will pay cash.
You can downvote me with a thumbs down as I drive by your work if that makes you happy. Can’t decide on red or yellow. Thoughts?

I'd even go as young as 3. Younger than 3 is still fun with kids
We took my son last year to Disneyland. We had to fly all the way to California for a wedding and went with the family so it made sense. He was just under 2 and was still able to do a ton there.
We are going to Disneyworld in a few months and he's 3. He's having full conversations, loves rides, and doesn't stop. Hate all you want, but the magnitude and magic of that place is hard to beat for a young kid. And if thats an experience we can share and gives him joy, its an easy choice.

It’s never been “worth the money” unless you enjoy overpaying for everything to ride mediocre rides and get your picture taken with Cosplay actors. You can build far more memories going camping or playing a family game for 1/1000th of the price. It is beyond idiocy to think spending 10k on a Disney trip is even remotely worth the money. Not only that, if you go at the wrong time you MIGHT get to ride a handful of rides and 2-3 pictures taken after waiting in lines all day long. I took all of my kids there around the same age and it has never been anything but a colossal waste of money. I am sure they enjoyed it at the moment but kids would enjoy a water park or Six Flags just as much

That is because you are a rational, mature adult, and not some shock jockey trying to be edgy on the internet.

You can’t possibly think it’s the same as the real places?
Im sorry that went over your head. maybe the internet isnt for you today.

Have you been to Disney as a child? The nostalgia brings you back to an innocent time. For the most part the rides are exactly the same as you remembered.
If I did not have kids, I would not be going to Disney once a year. Maybe once every 6-8 years instead. However with kids it is indeed a special place. We have been on many nice vacations as a family, but my most memorable was our first Disney trip with the kids.
Many adults still have an inner child in them, which is what I think you are critical of. Its sort of weird but also funny in a good way.

I remember going to Disney as a kid and I know I had fun. I don’t know go back as an adult and have the same fun, because I’m not 5. This is so fricking weird.
Take your kids I get it, we all waste money on useless bullshite for our kids. All good. But I’m under no illusion of what it is

Disney adults are the most pathetic people on the planet.

i’m honestly curious at why, for example, you would go to Epcot to see a fake London when for not all that much more you can go see the real thing.

The OT- where getting a Cisco schnitzel and a Hefeweizen in Orlando Florida is the same thing as going to Munich

ok look I am 59.
I have been about 10 times.
I've taken my kids but I also went as a kid with my parents-both gone- my 1st wife - gone also - and my new wife.
It brings back tons of memories of going since I was 12 years old.
To miss its been family trips through lots of different years.

Disney used to fun and relatively affordable. That being said, I haven't been there as an adult. For me it's always one of those questions "why vacation to Disney for 8 billion dollars when I could pay less and go to xyz?"

If you have kids between 6 and 12 or so I get it.
Outside of that, for the life of me I can’t understand spending thousands to go to central Florida or Anaheim to see a park designed for children. You can take that money and go to a real place.
