Everyone knows that America is basically Canada's protective big brother. We can shite on Canada because they're our little brother but as soon as someone else picks on them, it's fricking on.

If your neighbor asks you to come shoot a snake in his yard, what do you say?

Because that is an apples to apples comparison.

WASHINGTON — An American fighter jet, acting on the orders of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of Canada, shot down another unidentified flying object on Saturday, Canadian and American officials said, in the latest twist of the ongoing drama playing out over the skies of North America.

“I ordered the take down of an unidentified object that violated Canadian airspace,” Mr. Trudeau said in a statement he posted on Twitter. He said an American F-22 with the North American Aerospace Defense Command, which is operated jointly by the United States and Canada, “shot down the object over the Yukon.”

There are because technically all of Central America, The Caribbean nations and Greenland all count as "North America".

But this whole thread could have been avoided if someone just Googled NORAD and saw that it's a joint air defense command between the US and Canada. We have the planes with the capabilities so we took the shot in Canadian airspace. Simple.
