Someone explain to me adults that care what other adults do with their own time and money.

Other than the last pic of a douchey looking boy-band, which of those pictures don't look like fun to you, exactly?

Pretend you're from one of Admiral Zheng's ships that got lost and ended up in Europe. The festivals are chock full of dorky white people that need attention and don't care what color the people providing the attention are, so you should have a blast.

There’s lots of hipster chicks with big tits and low cut blouses that you get to look at while drinking beer.

I have a ultra-baw fishing buddy who has the most beautiful and succinct explanation I’ve ever heard for renaissance festivals.

“Nerds in black tshirts & cargo shorts walking around eating $15 turkey legs.”

Imagine a grown man caring what another grown man does for fun.

The light blue outfit looks to be concealed carrying, but I am just not sure what.

My ex brother in law was in to that stuff. One weekend he asked myself to be in it and I politely turned him down just to not my thing. I decided to bring my 3 young kids at the time and go see what this was all about. I couldn't stop laughing when I arrived to see duct tape on some made up swords and the outfits but after watching the opening battle scene when both teams collided at the center I can say that myself and kids had a blast watching. My now older kids still talk about that

Someone should merge this thread with the mask threads. Responses are pretty much the same: everybody too worried about what someone else is doing,

I hate them as much as anyone, but why do you even care? Seriously?

I just don't get it, man.
Ever been to a play or watched a movie? It's kinda like that except you get to participate if you want.

Go to people watch and drink beer. It’s a lot of fun. We don’t dress up for it.

Been doing it for years in Hammond, LA. It’s part of our holiday season. Oktoberfest at our house, Renn Faire, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve are family traditions that we celebrate and enjoy tremendously.

Role playing Baw. What don’t you get about that?

What is it that you dislike or don’t understand? You need to give us a little more info. Did some ole man touch you in the wrong place as a kid?

It's hard to see how someone might enjoy doing something different than you?

Who would have known?
