Yes, part guilt trip, part attack.
They were set to open early in the quarantine with take-out, then about a week later turned a 180. I suspect it had to do with the lack of ability to turn her dishes into take-out, and the unreasonableness of an $80 one-course meal for two people. The inability turned her bitter.

Friendly reminder, now that I am seeing it close to being completed, the Greyhound Gastropub is owned by the same lady who owns Burn It Down Del Porto’s.
Sadly, I thought with her “burn it down” comments, both would shutter. Looks like I’m wrong. Nonetheless, I won’t be visiting either.

This bums me out. Been driving by there a lot lately and it looked like a decent place to check out.
Will not be going there now

Bums me out that it is still going. And, Del Porto’s. I guess there are a lot more soy eaters over here than I thought. Who knew.

I can’t wait to not go there either.

There is a surprising number of hard core Progressives on the North Shore. Especially in Old Mandeville. Much like with LA or San Fran, it is easy to sit in your penthouse/mansion/lakefront home behind gates and dictate to the "little people" how they should live and what the government should do with their income. When you have to live amongst the thieves and killers, your tolerance for their shenanigans falls away quickly.

Why does she continue to open restaurants in the unsafe confines of a Caucasian suburb?

Yeah it’s getting progressively worse. our precinct barely went red in the last election and the number of virtue signaling yard sign neighbors I have is beyond obnoxious

Yet they’ll never move back across the lake to liberal Nola. No way.

Friendly reminder: Burn It Down Torre also owns the new Greyhound on Boston.
If you are against Del Porto, then don’t forget to not patronize the Greyhound.

What a bump. I love other people holding grudges against someone not me.

Can they account for their whereabouts last night before the Marsolan’s fire?

That's a year and a half grudge you've got going there

How can you bump this and not link to the story of the giant fire last night? Come on man! (Biden voice)

I was kind of hoping it was her place on fire last night when I saw the other post

Yes, black people built everything in America Let's ignore the Chinese slaves, the white slaves.
