It's really a no brainer, assuming your brain is fully developed.
Wtf? Not everyone that owns a truck has no use for it. What about big vans and SUVs?
You don't think some guys with families thought it a better investment to get a truck big enough to fit the family in and also be able to be used for other things?

He wants vehicle sizes to match his manhood.

BTW, how did we get all these pages into a topic about trucks and only have one "Truck Nuts" comment? The OT is slacking.

It's just laughable to me he speaks of masculinity all while bitching like a female about what another man drives. I probably shot out more testosterone into my wife last night than his body will produce in a month.
People like that think that this is the most powerful expression of modern masculinity:

I don't think we need to worry about Ryan procreating.

I can get on board with a 19 year old driving a F250 super duty being a little excessive
Two of my better friends in high school drove a Ram 2500 and a 3500 with duals. Both had Cummins engines.
They both had cattle, they both cut rice. Their dads each bought them one truck that did everything they needed (they hauled often and then also towed boats, and they could fit a 4 wheeler in the bed when needed) instead of a work truck and daily driver.
So maybe my opinion is a little skewed, but I tend to see a 1500 model and think, "oh, they wanted a vehicle with a bed." But when I see a heavy-duty pickup on campus, I tend to think, "that guy either has a camper, boat, or does some form of agricultural work."

If I didn't have a job being a productive member of society, I would suggest people with trucks find where he likes to park on campus and fill that lot with pickup trucks. If he's going to be offended, we should at least oblige him and give him a reason.

Boy, he sure is showing everyone how to be "masculine" by being intimidated by pickup truck.

Yeah, it seems all of the feminine nancies we used to call dweebs are trying to flip the script and claim their behavior of acting more like a woman is masculine.

You'd say wrong. 200 yards is further than you think. Think about how far you can throw a football and multiply that times ten.

Come from upper middle class household in Bible country where mom was expected to clean house and do housework, attend Christian school where some rules are strict, fit in but not popular in HS, then go to college find attractive girl, talk to attractive girl, find out attractive girl is from a more progressive family, want in girls panties so take classes to be with girl, hear the way you were raised belittled in classes with girl and when around girls friends, question why your upbringing was so "backwards", finally get in girls panties and change major and minor, and finally get a job at the Reveille.
