IF AI takes eliminates entry-level positions in some near future, where will the expertise reside to "final check" the AI's work?

Those folks exist today, presumably as they have the experience and knowledge base to check and verify the AI code/product.

Or will AI be so good and thorough that it will no longer require a human as a final check?

I think they’ll still need a human. Otherwise I am going in the hijacking business.

It’s pretty simple. You’ll just see companies like google will be able to reduce new hires from 5000/yr to 500. In a couple more years they’ll just need to hire 50.

The real question is what’s the exit plan for students attending all these state schools that have been actively doubling their enrollments every tens years and have no interest reversing course.

A $200,000-plus salary means working basically every hour, IBEW Local 415 Business Manager Fred Morrow agreed.

“I’d be a hero if I could get our guys making $260,000 a year,” he told Cowboy State Daily.

Most people, Morrow added, don’t want to live the nomadic lifestyle it would take — chasing premium jobs across states and living out of a fifth wheel.

Work 2-3 jobs and be on the road the whole time. I guess that is a good thing.

So what happens to blue collar pay once all the unemployed white collar people become blue collar? You just flooded the market.

Disappears. Need less humans.

Starved out. Killed out. Wars. Whatever.

Maybe AI is the great filter. Who knows.

It’s worse than that. Why would their services be in demand? Blue collar labor services white collar money.

Honestly, could there be any truer summary of what's happened in the last year? Every day we're looking at a newer rung of technology heaped atop the ladder.

Believe I remember hearing this a couple of years ago.

Maybe this time it'll be true.

All those AI companies are making money hand over fist, right? Right?

Inputs, audits, and client interface (face to face) is what a lot of tech jobs are going to morph into. If you aren’t a people person, you may have issues in tech in the future.
