No, in the next post he posted shooting guns. To people who have never shot before its a life changing experience. In most countries they are programmed to hate guns and those who own them. They don’t understand American culture and guns are harmless used responsibly. He just learned it can be ok to shoot and have fun doing it.

Freddy proved by deactivating his account and always covering his face he was not in this for the money. It took several friends he made along his journey to convince him to ignore the haters and reactivate his account ti tell his story to the majority who wanted to listen to it.

His tweeting history will be studied at some point. It started off in the South and it was mostly Southerners who originally started following him. He was telling the world how great the South is and how hospitable they are. And it just grew practically overnight.

Once people get away from the MSM they can see how really great our culture and people are. Those who will give the shirt off their back or last morsel of food to a stranger. And ask for nothing in return.

Freddy’s travels have been one of the best things to come from World Cup. Many minds have been changed on what America is. And in a positive way. Because it was organic you could not have paid any amount of money to an ad agency to show America in such a positive light. Freddy did it for free.

Now that the trip is almost over, I want to answer one of the questions we’ve been asked the most: “How are you guys able to afford a trip like this?”

The answer is actually pretty simple. We saved up for this trip over the past year, and it wasn’t nearly as expensive as most people probably assume.

We stayed mostly in budget hotels, and always split the cost between the three of us. Our flight to the US was also only 255€ for example. The biggest expenses were the rental cars and World Cup tickets.

In total the 6 weeks here with everything combined probably cost around 6-7k (It‘s probably 6k but since we also saved money thanks to invitations like the hotel stay in Houston, let‘s say it would’ve been around 7k). I know that’s still a lot of money, but it’s nowhere near what some people seemed to think we were spending. We met other World Cup tourists who told us their trips cost more than $40,000. If you‘re ok with not living in luxury than travelling doesn‘t need to be this expensive.

I’ll calculate the exact total once I’m back home.

We were a little flexible which helped. All flights to Houston were quite expensive so we just checked every major hub in Europe and chose the cheapest flight to the US. That was Dublin to Atlanta for 230. And in Europe you can fly everywhere cheap if you book a bit in advance, so we flew to Dublin for 20€ with Ryanair.

I‘m in university. One of us just graduated last year, took a job to get money for this trip and quit right before the WC so he could be here for the whole 6 weeks. Also in Germany you have like 30 vacation days, that‘s why our third person even with a job could be here so long.

Yes, that’s true. Not eating at restaurants saved us a lot of money, but I can understand that most people wouldn’t want to live off fast food every day.
