Got that vax, was given promotion, 20% raise, I don’t think twice about it.

They tried. I laughed and told them good luck getting someone else that generates as much revenue and member satisfaction that I do. Took about a day and they told me I was exempted.

Private companies should have the freedom to do as they choose. If they want to implement their own vax mandate and run off employees, so be it. Just like a baker should be able to choose if they don't want to bake a cake for a gay couple.

Baking a cake versus an injection is a bad comparison though. As per an earlier post, in line with that thinking, a private company should be able to terminate a pregnant woman if she won't get an abortion. Also, they shouldn't have to disclose that prior to employment.

I was, but I'm federal so the SCOTUS ruling doesn't effect me.

Usually, that means getting stupid rich people shitfaced, but I did make some equity fund owner's daughter very happy the other night. Nothing like waking up in a 50MM house on top of a mountain.

and the company will still have to pay a lawyer. shite it cost a good amount of money to just have the lawyers read a lease.

My coworker got the vax last week because our company sent a email with info about their preparation should it have passed. I was going to test weekly or get fired.

There was rumor that it was going to be forced at our company so a lot of people got it just to make life easier.
I held out and now several people wish they would have held out longer.
I am getting charged $10 per week for being not being vaxxed which I think is complete bullshite.

The Nets are charging Kyrie Irving $5,000 a game to keep the deadliest virus known to man at bay.

Check your privilege.

Our company set a deadline. Everybody unvaxxed, fired. Their arms were being twisted by clients.

Alright, whatever. Old guys that been working there 30+ retire, say "screw yall". All retire. Company is looking at a big hole for at the operations/field level.

All old guys retired. Company backtracks on mandate the day of deadline.

Now no deadline. No mandate. No people who knows what they're doing.

That's the story of 2021.

Why? Did anything happen to them after they got the vaccine?

Can they require all women that get pregnant to have abortions? It’s currently a legal act, called healthcare, and prevents work disruptions.

There is a law that specifically prohibits this. I know of no such law for private vaccine mandates. Do you?

I agree, but if I was fired for something trivial the lawsuit is coming.

What makes think you can sue an employer for firing you for something you consider trivial? Good luck finding a lawyer and be prepared for many lectures on employment at will.

Are they using that to pay for weekly tests? I can't figure out how else they can justify charging you for your vaccination status.

I hope that is the case. Charging $10 for weekly testing is discriminatory as well because you can be vaxed, have a booster, and still get Covid and spread it.

This whole thing has to be an HR nightmare.

We were never at risk of getting fired, but my company allows vax'd to not where masks.

My company asked my vaccination status but haven’t said what they’re going to do about it. I think they wanted them on file just in case it passed the Supreme Court.
