this is true my best friend will get 3' of water in his home. He got 7' in 16

Did he rebuild in the same place at the same elevation? (Just curious)

Nakamoto is great. But Grymes and Caparotta are far superior.

The real question is... why are you watching WBRZ? WAFB is far superior in weather coverage.

Grymes had it at 41 also, lower than 16 but in line with 83.

Yeah. I dont expect everyone to understand. My home in Watson where the highest amount of water occurred in 16 was not flooded. But I did have quit a few friends that did
I still have guilt from that but did try my best to help them all out with gutting and rebuilding their homes.

Sam Kinison had an interesting philosophy for situations such as this.

I'm like anyone else on this planet -- I'm very moved by world hunger. I see the same commercials, with those little kids, starving, and very depressed. I watch those kids and I go, “F***, I know the FILM crew could give this kid a sandwich!” There's a director five feet away going, “DON'T FEED HIM YET! GET THAT SANDWICH OUTTA HERE! IT DOESN'T WORK UNLESS HE LOOKS HUNGRY!!!” But I'm not trying to make fun of world hunger. Matter of fact, I think I have the answer. You want to help stop world hunger? Stop sending them food. Don't send them another bite, send them U-Hauls. Send them a guy that says, "You know, we've been coming here giving you food for about 35 years now and we were driving through the desert, and we realized there wouldn't BE world hunger if you people would live where the FOOD IS! YOU LIVE IN A DESERT!! UNDERSTAND THAT? YOU LIVE IN A F***ING DESERT!! NOTHING GROWS HERE! NOTHING'S GONNA GROW HERE! Come here, you see this? This is sand. You know what it's gonna be 100 years from now? IT'S GONNA BE SAND!! YOU LIVE IN A F***ING DESERT! We have deserts in America, we just don't live in them, a**holes!"
-Sam Kinison

RIP Sam.

Did he have flood insurance in 16?

If not, did he purchase it since then?

If not, well, you know.

In the beginning of this thread, I had sympathy for you. I even reported two posts to admin.

Here we are on page two and I hope you choke on an aids dick.

Think this is based on BR getting the 20+? Or is this factoring in the westward move?

NHC came out with higher projected totals around 4-5 pm today.

Gotta hope the system moves a little faster than anticipated.

Gonna be a long week.

That's what doesn't make sense to me. It seems every update is more favorable for BR but the rain forecasts keep getting worse.
