If you feel this relationship is not right as a parent then step in and do something about it. This is YOUR child and none of us here will have to be the one there should she become pregnant at such a young age. As a parent you must do what you feel is best. In today's society there appears to be an “anything goes” mentality. Just because everyone is doing it doesn't make it right or acceptable. Sure your daughter may be upset if you step in, but as a parent that is not only your right; it is your duty. Who cares what the world thinks, this is your child. Yes at 15 she is a child. Parents today are so afraid of stepping in and really being parents. I am taking care of this child, providing for her needs, educating, doing my job as a loving and responsible parent; it is my duty to set the rules and her duty to respect them. Just because we can't stop a behavior when we are not around does not mean we should condone it. If you do not agree with the age difference then do something about it. I would talk to this person and let him know how I feel. He would then have a choice to make. Stay away or suffer the consequences. As for my daughter she will know that I am the parent and this is the decision I have made. No child of 15 should be having sex with anyone and just because society says it's okay; my morals and beliefs say differently and in my house that is what matters. We cannot control what our children do, but I will not condone or encourage it. It is time parents start being parents again rather than friends. I did not give birth to my friend, but my child. Therefore; I set the standards and as long as they live in my house they will follow the rules within it. At 15 her priority should be her education not having a sexual relationship. At 18 he is a man, maybe an immature man, but a man none the less
