Already pointed out the Walmart spoons, red solo cups, coke cans on tRant

Those are also Great Value paper plates, which are actually a great money-saving alternative to the Dixie product. Or so I’ve been told.

Funfetti cake is good I don’t care what you say.

But it’s not appropriate for a wedding, nor is it in the top 10 options for a grooms cake. Dude spent a bunch of money on a fancy design on a cheap funfetti cake

Yeah the OT loves to act all manly and pretend to not care about anything.

But most of the threads on here are about what other men are wearing or making fun of someone for not paying $15,000 on their wedding reception.

I’m not saying everybody needs to spend 5-6 figures but you should definitely spend more than $100. Not sure OP did

frick dark colored frosting on a cake. That crap tastes so bitter.

Light colored frosting is the only acceptable frosting and yellow and white would apply with this here cake.

Good point about the knife. That cake is getting torn up good. They definitely didn’t hire a professional

I had Southern Maid donuts for my “grooms cake,” and that was fricking delicious. I can get on board for red solo cups and shitty Walmart cutlery being on the tacky side, but I’ll be damned if I’m not gonna have the cake I want at my own gd wedding. Nobody really cares about the grooms cake as much as the wedding cake anyway.

The important question is what is inside that cake.

What’s the flavor and icing situation on the inside.

That can ruin the whole thing

I'd rather spend that money on a kick arse honeymoon, a down payment on a new house or car, or just put it into a rainy day fund.

Spending tens of thousands of dollars for one afternoon/night to cater to people you don't see everyday or even once a month just never made sense to me.
