Yeah, everyone saying get vaccinated to end the pandemic (including masking) now changing their tune saying, nah fam, just kidding are the smart ones.

A lot of those same people included the caveat that we needed to reach a percentage of vaccinated to reach herd immunity, but all you idiots listened to was the mask part because you're a bunch of pussies.

This bullshite proves to me I never should have gotten this fricking "vaccine" in the first place. I never wanted to get it in the first place but my wife decided to get it since she travels a lot for work so I said what the hell, if she's getting it I might as well. I should have never let her out of the kitchen...

When numbers are going up and you have to be able to say 'hey relax, we're doing XYZ about it', and XYZ is a piece of cloth and in return all businesses stay open and life can go on, cool sign me up. I couldn't care less about the temp mask requirement itself, vaccinated or not.

Double oh, only bright spot I see in this is that maybe the turf season at fairgrounds will be saved.

Only if he cancels concerts. if not they are having Jazz fest they make too much money at Jazz fest and masks are indoors only so i dont see it happening. I wish it would happen but i dont see it.

I'm fricking vaccinated. I don't give a shite about everyone else.

Everyone else's health is not my responsibility and mine is not theirs.

It's fricked up I was told to get the vaccine to end the pandemic and now I'm right back in the same situation pre-vaccine.

I don't get it. I feel like I was lied to straight to my face.

It is what it is. Not really that concerned. I wish only vaccinated people were required to wear masks. Then I will know who is unvaccinated. Plus herd immunity would happen faster.

Makes no sense at all
It does make sense. There are still hundreds of millions of unvaccinated people and the vaccines are 65-94% effective meaning at least 10 million of them can get infected. A more contagious strain has developed. Not difficult to understand.

They are pissed at the unvaccinated for some reason. And oblivious to the fact that even vaccinated people are carrying the virus.... maybe even at a higher load.

I really don't care about a mask. I have to wear a shirt and shoes so no big deal.
You don't sweat the small stuff when you've dealt with the really bad stuff. You young ones will learn that as your life goes on.

What has been the negative of you getting vaccinated?

Check back with him in 5 years and we’ll see if there is one. We have no way of knowing the long-term effects yet.

I'm kinda mixed I guess. I got the shot so I wouldn't get covid again. But now there's a shite ton of people I know who have it and their kids have it (even though their symptoms are extremely mild).

One thing that I've noticed is that everyone getting it now may or may not have gotten the shot, but one thing seemingly in common is they never got the covid the first go round. Since I was positive last year, I kinda assume I'm safe...ish.

This straw man is ridiculously overplayed and very irrelevant at this point.

If the spikes are mostly in unvaccinated populations, then being mad at anyone but the assholes making decisions for us worthless citizens is ignorant. You fricks keep attacking other regular Joes rather than the people making these horrible decisions. Stop being a mouthpiece for these scumbag politicians for once.

Masks and lockdowns are unnecessary today and into the future. If you agree with that, then the fact that we aren't at 100% vaccinated (we'll never be) is completely irrelevant.
