You're right, plus with those push doors I prefer the mad-man door throw-push rather than the kick. School offices always seem to have push doors.

more pissed than if a bunch of illegals showed up to do your sprinkler work without a foreman, but less pissed than if your wife tossed salad in Tigerland.

Yall are a bunch of worry warts. The chances of something bad happening because he got on the wrong bus are no greater than they are if he'd gotten on the right bus. If anything, this was a good learning experience for the kid because it probably scared him a little and now he'll be sure to check to make sure he's on the right bus from now on, take a little responsibility for himself.

1. Go ahead and make an appointment to speak to Dr. Pujol
2. Get down to about a 5 before the meeting.
3. Let her know that you understand the beginning of school has kinks to work out but this is unacceptable and your son could have been put in harm's way.
4. Ask her what she plans to do about it - offer that in your opinion, all teachers at Oak Grove should be provided additional after school training on this.
5. Let her know that if it happens again, you will skip the meeting with her and go straight to the media and the state board of education.

So now we're telling a 6 year old to take responsibility for his own actions, but we can't tell grown black men to take responsibility for their own actions?

I look forward to death so I don't have to live here any longer

They put him on the wrong bus or he got on the wrong bus? Make sure your kid knows what bus to get on. It is not like someone did this on purpose.

When I went to kindergarten, I had to catch a bus to one school then switch to another one to get to my school. I managed to do that all year without a messing that up and I was 5.

From the OP I gathered that the kid should not have been placed on any bus. His dad was there to pick him up.

Happened twice to my kindergarten age kid a couple of years ago.

Mistakes happen. However, the school acted like they could care less.

Kid's in catholic school now, and this was a big reason why.
