Your wife's shitty attitude will enable your daughter, take that bitch's privileges away too

Sounds like your daughter takes after your wife.

I'm seeing a lot of disrespect for legos in this thread. What's wrong with you people? Maybe everyone would enjoy life more if they played with legos every once in a while.

The girl is obviously too young for a cell phone. I mean shite I'm 27 and it's still tempting to check out td while I'm at work. These babies have too many distractions.

3 pages and nobody has told you that she's obviously cheating? I am shocked.

After hearing this comment and typing it, do you really have to wonder why your daughter is not doing well in school?

Good luck at the hippie commune next year when after your wife discovers a book that will "change her life."

I have seen kids over the years that you could take every goddamned thing away and it made no difference. You could offer $50 per "A" on the report card and it made no difference. Some are just not wired for school. Don't get me wrong, it frustrated the hell out of me and some other parents. The kids would sometimes bring home grades that when we were that age we wouldn't have had the courage to show up with a bad report card. One of mine got the message and actually got through college with two degrees and did a stint in Iraq. The other kid, I love her to death, but she was not cut out for school. She is married, working in a pretty decent job and at age 30 has bought a home. So I guess she didn't do too bad. I bore down on my son because of the ultimate responsibilities of manhood. I bore down on my daughter because I wanted her to be able to support herself independently in the event anything happened. My ex-wife has an undergraduate degree and I have a doctorate. The kids were not going to follow in my footsteps. Maybe the next generation .......

Yeah, my ex sort of went that route but in the name of Jeezus. I wish her only the best in her poverty. She set a shitty example for our kids and negated some of what I was trying to teach them about life.

You got a lot on your plate. A wife who is getting bored and questioning the monotony of a keeping up with the Joneses picket fence existence. And a daughter who is coming up on her rebellious teen years in a digital/social media age. Thoughts and prayers. Get yourself a cabin, a boat, a camp, something to retreat to and enjoy the simple things.

Hey, this times 10,000. The bitch of a wife had it good and was too stupid to know it. The daughter? Again, I love her to death, but going through adolescence was hell.

Given that I finished getting both kids out on their own after their mother left, the two best financial investments I made was (A) a cash divorce settlement to get rid of the wife; and (B) the cost of my daughter's wedding. I always tell my son-in-law that if she gives him too much trouble, just let me know. My current living arrangements are the dog and myself having the house to ourselves. It's a hell of a lot more peaceful. Dog also does a good job of screening my dates when I go out from time to time. The one that she just went ape-shite over and wanted to tear her a new a-hole, was a dishonest bitch in lady's clothing. Dog picked it up in an instant.

I would ask the OT rather than getting family counseling.

There are those females who marry and figure out that if they squirt out a couple of babies they have a meal ticket and don't have to do shite from that point on. Mine was one of those. I didn't realize it until after the fact, but she actually went to college to please her parents and find a husband.

I had to go through a similar learning experience with my dad.

He took me for a drive in BR and didn't tell me where we we're going.

First he drove me through highland road North of LSU.

Then he drove me through highland south of LSU. The whole time he wouldn't talk to me. Just told me to look at what we were driving past.

When we got home he asked which area I'd rather live in.when I told him I obviously wanted to live in the big house with the pools and Mercedes out front.

He said none of it was possible with out some sort of education. It was pretty eye opening.

However, what really drilled the idea home was the fricking leather belt he wore my arse out with after we went on That car ride.

It really isn't. These days our school have become nothing more than indoctrination camps.

I too hated school, never went to college and I'm doing just fine in life.
