Boneless wings suck. Traditional twice fried and naked are the only way to eat wings.

I've never worked at a large chain restaurant, but at a lot of restaurants it's common if they run out of items before they get their order in to send an employee to the grocery store to get a substitute.

I imagine that like any chain, they aren't breading their own boneless wings in house. They're coming pre-cut and breaded, ready to fry, in a bag. This manager probably has zero culinary knowledge or cooking experience, so making his own boneless wings likely never even occurred to him. He was probably looking for the closest thing he was used to.. Which is prebreaded frozen wings.

This was an issue yesterday. My buddy ordered naked tossed in medium sauce. They came out just ten wings dropped in a fryer. No sauce what so ever.
