This guy is actually a very good manager and new to BWW.
He was very sincere on the phone and seemed like a good dude. I just can't fathom how management would let this happen.

Never been to a BWW. Sounds like I never should.

He was my boss for 5 years and has many years of experience. If it was his call then it definitely was a bad call. It doesn't sound like a call he would make. He knows he could call one of our stores and buy boneless from us.

Worst excuse for a restaurant on planet earth. Never had good service, customer base sucks, wings are awful and overpriced for frozen garbage. I loathe this place.

I can't imagine how this place ever became a successful concept. Never had a decent meal there.

It sounded like someone else made the decision and that he was trying to clean it up. He did say that whomever was taking the orders was supposed to notify the customer before hand that they were not buying a BWW product. If I'm manager and I find out about something like this going on at my store I'm 86ing boneless wings until I get some more. I don't let them continue to sell that crap regardless of the fact that they're notifying the customer

ETA: I've worked in several restaurants before and we ran out of certain items all the time. The item would simply be taken off the menu until further notice. Of course the customers would be upset sometimes that the food they wanted wasn't available, but they'd be even more upset if they knew they were being sold some processed crap with a 400% upcharge.

Manager should have never admitted this. You're fired!

You can have a higher up saying no way you're 86ing that. I've had to make things happen in my career with someone telling me the same thing. The more I think about it the more I think the decision came from someone else. He worked in our company for 20 years. He knows everyone in our stores in BR and could make a call to buy boneless from us. If you decided to give them another chance I know this guy will make sure your next order is perfect.

Well that's on their arse then. You could tell that he was pissed off at the situation. Like I said it sounds like he was cleaning up someone else's mess

ETA: And my first call is to corporate if a supervisor suggests that I serve something like that to my customers.

Might be a franchise and the higher up is in the store. Depends on the structure. I'd fight that decision as well though.

That particular BWW may have the worst service of any I've been too. I wonder the same as another poster though - how the hell does a place known mainly for wings and boneless wings run out of product?

Brah. I gotta let you know. Katelnika is not gonna cut it as a server over there. She was okay yesterday around 4. I'd hate to see her during a rush.

She's usually pretty good but no telling with this generation. Cares one day and then could care less the next.

Management. Probably has minimum wage workers running inventory, which gets pencil whipped. I had a bad experience at that location years ago. Asked to talk to the manager, and a kid walks up to the table. I thought he was a fry cook at first, but he really was the manager. He acted like he didn't want to refund my money because it took 75 minutes to get our two orders of wings. He changed his tune real quick when I asked him who the regional manager is. Haven't been back since.

Thanks for the input. I wouldn't mind giving him another shot since I haven't had any problems to this extent there before. If I'm ever down in Houma I'll make sure to stop by
