I'm sorry fish. Since that happened almost a year ago every time I see you post I think of you and try to imagine what is must be like. Every time I cannot fathom it.
Hope you get in touch with Andrew or someone who can listen.

Don’t push send Fish! Actually I am glad you did, praying you find some peace. Anniversaries of something like this would be unbearable to me.

Anyone near Christ the King? Maybe go see if Merrick is there and bring this to his attention?

Hey, I am loosing it very fast here. Wife at the hospital with her mom. Home along and my heart has been eating alive.
I had always been a strong person, but willing to call it quits now.
I need this young man to help me, maybe give me more answers as he did before.

I hope you can find someone to help. I know it must be really tough right now. Gotta push through though. Have you called your wife?

c'mon fish. Not sure if you're thinking of doing anything crazy but think of the position you'd be putting your wife in.
Hopefully just the alcohol talking.

Please try to go to sleep, fish. I know how much you love your wife. She needs you.

You’ve made it through the toughest part already bro. You’re just having a bad day. Put the whisky away and go to bed.

Call the numbers I posted for vets. If neither you nor you son are vets...frick it....lie to them. Worse they can do is transfer you or give you another number to another helpline. Give it a shot. Don't just sit there. Reach out to them.

The main line to the parish office should have a recording with a number to call or option to press in the event of an after hours emergency. Fish, call that number. Nearly every after hours line at a Catholic Church ring directly to the Priest’s residence.
Fish - if for some reason there’s not an after hours option. Let me know. I can try my best to track his cell # down.

You don't know me from Adam and I've got no magic words to take the pain away. If you just need someone who will listen, you can call me. Post your email and I'll send my number.
Even better. Call a buddy and ask him to come hang out and just be there with you.

Fish: You are so much stronger than the depression that you are rightfully experiencing right now. Stop drinking. It’s not helping you tonight. The fact that you want to speak to Fr Andrew tells me that you know your worth to this world, as hard as it may be to see right now. Stay strong for your wife. Be the strong man your son knows you are. I pray for peace for you tonight. The morning will come, and your healing will begin.

Keep pushing Fish. Your wife, at 5', is too little to finish out the guest house without you. Also, you have to make sure that little one gets his Mountain Dew when he visits.
A lot of the stress you are feeling right now is from your own medical problems. You are taking the good steps to fix all that though so it should settle down. You have people depending on you to be there so you just need to make it through the next few days.
How is the daughter's new Jeep holding up?
Take care my brother.

I lost a son too (16 years ago), the hurt gets worse everyday but you have to keep fighting on man. Im not in a good way either. I hide my pain through drugs for too long. Please, take sometime to think before acting.
