Anyone know a good cobbler? I need more than just someone who can replace soles on a shoe and sells shoe laces.
Also, in case YOU all don't know... this is a "Balmoral":

The only 2 places I know are in Metairie.
Famous Shoe Repair on Metairie Road and Shoe Doctor on Homestead. I do not know if they know the difference between a "Blucher" and a "Balmoral" vent.

I'd recommend a good peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream on top.

If you refer to them as closed lacing or open lacing they will have a better idea what you are talking about.
Or Oxfords and Derbies.
Those terms are more common.
