So I found a leech stuck to my tongue after eating taco bell tonight

late night taco bell run, felt something on the right underside of my tongue towards the end of eating. tried to gargle it away with water, wouldn't go away. went in the restroom to look at my tongue in the mirror. saw the dark brown thing stuck to my tongue. pinched it with my fingers and peeled it off, busting it. spit out a bunch of blood.
wish I had taken a pic of it stuck to my tongue, but I was just shocked to see it on my tongue. wasn't real sure what it was till it busted when I peeled it off.
here's the after pic with part of my tongue ripped off. you can see where it peeled off towards the back of my mouth.
guess I got some extra protein in my tacos

Man says he found a LEECH in a Coles salad - and only noticed when the creature attached itself to his tongue
that's where it attached on me, except on the opposite side. and mine was a little bigger
wish I had taken a pic of it stuck to my tongue, but I was just shocked to see it on my tongue. wasn't real sure what it was till it busted when I peeled it off.

wish I was lying and wish I had pics. don't see how any litigation against taco bell can be had now.

no idea. but the research I did a little while ago says leeches are edible, so I should be ok if there were more.
haven't seen any other instances online where someone has found a leech in their food. saw where one guy got a leech stuck in his throat, but he was able to feel it. I choose to believe I'd be able to feel them if there were more

Hot damn. I wont be sleeping now. Could have been a parasite that came up from the gut to get a look see what's going on. Maybe a breath of air. Parasites and their resulting infections are the next huge pandemic. Really already is but they wont admit it. Wish I were joking.
