And gets free housing and training at our navel base, then go full terrorist mode (zero surprise) and then kills 3 and wounds 8 unarmed people in NAS Pensacola? WTF? He didn’t have to go though a back ground check like I do every time I buy a gun????
Let me guess, Saudi Citizens are exempt right? Can someone illuminate me on how a non citizen can buy a firearm here. Since most all terrorist seem to have Saudi connections? It seems like this would trigger something?

The Saudis have negotiated diplomatic immunity for about half their county, I am willing to bet we are prohibited from doing any background checks on any of their military that are sent over here for training and trust them to do it, and we have to sell them rocket launchers if they want them. I am ready to the oil economy to be winding down, it cost too much in blood and money

Pandoras box is opened with firearms in america.
..but imagine, if some fricker killed 15+ men using only kung fu.
You couldn't help but be impressed.

I can arm a platoon so I get it, but what’s the point of making everyone go though all the paperwork and shite if you are going to sell to foreigners from countries that support terrorist

Oddly enough one of the three sailors that attempted to stop him and were killed was named Mohammed.

Isn’t much different than allowing a Democrat, both hate America.

Saudis have all the power because of oil. If the people who hate middle easterns would wise up and go green and away from big oil you'd cripple them. Instead you play right into their hands (pockets) by mocking global warming.

I thought I heard there is a loophole that allows noncitizens who own a hunting license in their home country the ability to purchase a firearm.

Technically that is not a loophole (those are unintended) but rather a codified exemption. Going from memory there are four exceptions buried somewhere is Chapter 44 Sec 922 of the US code. One is indeed hunting, police officers, foreign representatives, and foreign officials. Each of these has more specific requirements that must also be met. My guess is the Saudi fell under the foreign representative exception.
Foreign nationals training with the US military in the US goes back at least 30 years, I trained with members of a good number of foreign nationals 30 years ago.

You still have to submit for background check. A friend of mine goes this route. He’s got a hunting license here (home country has nothing to do with it) so can purchase firearms. His background check takes several days every single time. Mine never takes more than 15 minutes.
