Exactly. People act like kids are pulling some sort of super soaker looking thing on cops. When in fact the BB Gun they draw looks like a real gun.

fricking laser site on a BB gun?

Plus...the emphasis on this being a 13 y/o. I'd like to see what that 13 y/o looked like (and not a picture from 5 years ago).

Cop should have lit him up under the circumstances and BLM can suck an AIDS dick.

So far, sounds justified. Open carry does not mean open fire

Gary is going to be pissed this didn't happen here in Baton Rouge.

Still, he will use this as more ammunition for his "cause."

TLDR: Gary fin'na eat.

I feel bad that a 13 year old kid is dead. He's too young to really understand life and death consequences.

But having said that, if he did pull out a BB gun and point it at the cops, he left them no other choice than to shoot him. And I feel bad for the cop or cops who killed him because I know it's going to weigh on their mind for the rest of their lives that they've killed a kid. Does not matter that it was not their fault, that sort of thing will eat away at you. It sucks the cops were put into that situation. But were I in their shoes, I'd have done the same.

@MsPackyetti Ohio is an open carry state. Still, they keep killing black kids with BB guns. #TamirRice, and now, #TyreeKing

It's sad when this type of ignorance doesn't surprise me anymore

Hopefully they were wearing body cameras that clearly show the suspect pulling the gun.
Exactly.

We have so many examples of cops lying on reports, so I'd hope they have the body cam.

And if it did go down like that, there isn't even much to discuss, pretty cut and dry.

They are literally too dumb to know the difference between right and wrong. Amazing.

blame falls on the parents/parent/grandparent/aunt for not teaching the kid to not carry a gun and steal.

Seems like he was forming his craft.

People think the police can do like they do in the movies: take aim, shoot hand of target which will force the threat to drop the gun.

Good on the cops.

They saved us Money and probably people's lives in the future.

If the kid is robbing stores at gunpoint at 13 how long do you really think it would be before he kills someone?
