The real issue is that The Left destroys people as a STRATEGY. Every single week with the relentless racistsexisthomophobe racistsexisthomophobe racistsexisthomophobe. And The Right is grappling with the idea that they should too.
The better course for all is to be tolerant of ideas and speech, let comedians be loveable dicks that offend the shite out of everybody, and to treat people fairly and honestly. The first step would be for you guys on The Left to stop demonizing errybody. It’s cartoonish.

Or we still live in a country where people can decide to either watch or turn it off.
I thought it was a pretty cool clip that showed some civility between two people who disagreed and we should probably have more of that.

Pete has made jokes about 9/11 and his dads death in the past, so I’m guessing his mom is used to it and had no input in this
I don’t think he’s funny and I didn’t think the original joke was funny either. What I find most funny is the cross-section of those who were angry about the joke and also call everyone snowflakes.
It was a joke. Should’ve never been an apology. Should’ve never been any outrage.
