Some outlets saying the shooter's name is Joshua Jahn; barely 29 years old. IDK if this is accurate at all.....

It's quite possibly the situation, but yeah, agreed.
Killing detainees who were presumably on the way out vs. random immigrants is an odd choice for an anti-immigration act of terror. But obviously rational thought isn't always part of the equation with sociopaths.

Shooter was squeezed by the cartel to tie up a few loose ends and end his own life or they would kill his entire family.
If it was a crazy leftist you would think they would take out the ICE agents. Right winger wouldn’t take neither the ICE agents or detainees out since they are deporting illegals. Bet the media won’t speak to this possibility.

Yes, there is ideological finger pointing.
There is also the natural desire to make sense of the world around us - to put things in clean little boxes so we can get on with it. It's why most of us stop listening to news reports once we hear the shooting happened in a sketch part of town, etc.

Some twitter/X posts are saying the shooter was on top of the building across the parking lot behind the ICE facility on Empire Central Place.

reports were this was first thing this morning (6;30ish). they are reporting he opened fire on a van as the sally port door was opening. wonder if this turns out to be an attack on ICE officials, but he shoots detainees instead. i would imagine he started shooting as they were getting out the van and he shot at each person he could target.

A false flag could only be pulled off by an intelligence agency. We know it is in their playbook from JFK files. Intelligence agencies are inherently going to be on the side that consolidates more power to the state. There isn't a lot of motivation for a false flag the other way. They don't have party loyalty, they are just going to be loyal to whatever benefits the state.
Proving a false flag would also be incredibly difficult because you are going up against the most powerful machine in the world. Hell, most people suspect Epstein was an intelligence asset and we still cant technically prove it.
If there were ever a false flag (Please dont mistake that Im saying that is what this it), none of us would ever know. Outside of a whistleblower you would probably never be able to prove it.
