What’s the most absurd food or drink item you’ve gotten away with sneaking into a movie theater?

When I worked at Raising Cane's, we helped a guy for an entire caniac in his gfs purse.

AMC theaters don't care if you bring in food...

I bring sugar free stuff and a bottle of water sometimes, but they always have a promotion for a small popcorn and small drink which both are really medium sizes for $5 for the kids if I need to.

No way am I buying a regular priced

I snuck in a bottle of wine in a brown paper bag I had just bought from Olive Garden. I was 18, they didn’t ID, and my gf had just broken up with me. Watched 13 Ghosts at the Pecanland Mall Theater in Monroe and passed out halfway through. Good times

I ate a firehouse sub and a bag of chips once. It was roast beef on toasted wheat with Swiss cheese, jalapeños, sweep the kitchen. You could smell it throughout the theater and it was sloppy. I figured it had to be healthier than the 48 hour hot dog with $50 worth of nachos and sour patch kids.

Hot Cafe Latte, I spilled it on myself and sued the shop where I bought it.

Went to a luxury theater in Ft Collin’s where you sit in Lazy Boy chairs with built in tables and could order Ribeyes or Chicken Parm or other similar high end entrees with a wine selection, mixed drinks, etc… before the movie started.

My favorite part was the little bitch button you could push to get the movie theatre waiter guys to come bring you another drink, more popcorn etc… during the show. They would slink in up to your seat/table like Gollum so as to not block anyone’s view.

It was sweet, and no worries about getting out of the restaurant on time if the service is slow to make it to your movie like a typical dinner and a movie date night.

Was excited at first when the Grand 14 in Lafayette renovated a couple years back, but they just did the Lazy Boys with none of the rest.

Hell we did that all the time.

Bought box candy at the dollar store next door, snuck it into my wife's (then GF) purse, and walked into the theater.

I brought in cases of beer for all my friends in my 'AWOL bag' (just a big arse army backpack) in my early 20's a few times. No one said a thing. I brought in pre-mixed liquor in a Camelback one time and learned a valuable science lesson about carbonated drinks under pressure when I squeezed the mouthpiece before it was in my mouth and hosed down the three rows in front of me with Captain Morgan and Coke.

I got away without getting my arse kicked but not without developing crippling alcoholism.

When I was growing up there was a theater in the Acadiana Mall near the food court. We used to sneak in Burger King or other food court food and thought we were pretty bad arse. But one of my best friends would go to the pet store located inside the mall and buy feeder mice and rats and release those into the dark theater. Good times!!

I gotta say this is when the cargo short dudes cash in their chips. We laugh at all the oversized pockets but when it comes time to hit the movie theatre those guys are strolling past the usher with a 7-11 in their pockets while the well dressed chumps are standing in line for 15 minutes to pay $7.99 for Junior Mints.
