frick right off with this bullshite. I have zero problem feeding steak and lobster to those defending our country. I’d much rather my tax dollars go to giving them something good to eat than have that money go to some fatass worthless welfare queen who keep squeezing out more leeches on society so she can get more “gubment” money each month.

You realize how dumb this line of thinking is? It's akin to saying "US citizens commit murder so then who cares if we let a bunch of illegals in who commit murder"

How about we try and stop all wasteful spending and fraud?

Politicians use our taxes for everything but what they are intended for but paying for lower class to drink red bulls is crossing the line

That would suit me if they sign a no medical care for metabolic diseases waiver to get their sugar fix.

More than unnecessary, it was a stupid observation.

Lots of context clues.

People protest based on their ideology. The people are hypocrites, but ALL of the protest is valid.

Has anyone informed them that they can’t pay their lawyers with an ebt card?

Responsible taxpayers pay for these people on both ends: the shite they stuff down their gullets and the insulin, dialysis and lifetime of treating various metabolic and related diseases.

The law says that USDA can grant waivers upon request to exclude items from state programs.

To go a step further, that's why all of the "laws" and bills being passed about banning things from SNAP benefits are mostly just for show. The State can ask for waivers from the USDA at any time, it's an executive function. Easiest method is an executive order but it doesn't even take that if they wanted to do it quietly.

I would bet close to 40% of the population is on some sort of food program. Most don't even need it, but it's like disability now. Everyone gets it and also visits all the food pantries in the area as well. Then they either sell it or eat the hell out of it. I saw a dude in front of me in the grocery store that had a whole cart full of pork butts and ribs. I said to him, man I want to come and eat with you! He said you can come and buy it, I smoke it and sell plates. Of course he paid with his EBT card.

The govt needs to get out of the Paying for retail food business. Even worse were the EBT door dashes. It's all a complete scam. Put up tents and feed them Army type meals 3x a day. Make the people eating take turns working and cooking in the compound. If you want the govt to feed you, then you need to eat the govt's food. Not the people's food.

One is sucking off of us and the other is defending us. I agree with the analogy that it should be fair, but what you're comparing are two different things. One is living off of the government and one is serving the government and the people
