You really don't want to engage or escalate if you have a firearm in the car.
It's just common sense, but why get put into a situation where you have to use deadly force over a nothing situation?
You are a deep thinker.
I bet IRL you are like Ty from Caddyshack.

I was driving next to this guy about a month ago who was texting and swerving. I looked over and told him to put his fricking phone down.
I've done this on multiple occasions. Pisses me off when I see people driving looking straight down at their phones. They are putting people in danger because they can't unglue themselves from their phones for 10 minutes. Not the mention people sitting for 10 fricking seconds when the light turns green in Atlanta rush hour traffic because they are texting. It's gotten ridiculous.
Most of the time they just look surprised and look away. A couple times they have gotten pissed like I was in the wrong for calling them out. Hope someone doesn't shoot me.

Will Smith case has a lot of noise but it's going to boil down to if there was a second gun AND if it was in Will Smith's hand
The general public is not entitled to instant gratification re police investigation. Everybody needs to take a breath and wait for the FACTS

LE, what am I supposed to be looking at in this pic you've been posting?
I don't see either of the cars, the Hummer and the Mercedes.
Not sure what i'm looking for in these.

Shouldn't the police do an investigation before they make an arrest?

What if when you got out and asked him wtf, he said I have a gun and reached into his center console?
Even after a hit and run, if the dude followed him, cars stopped, dude got out of his car with a gun and approached Smith, I don't think you can claim self-defense if Smith was reaching for the gun, as it would seem you can logically say Smith was trying to defend himself from a dude who approached his car with a gun, no?

ETA: However, if Hayes conducted himself in any manner that would make it reasonable for smith to reach for a gun, then Hayes gives up any right for self defense

All of this morning many people were framing the scenario that Hayes stopped his Hummer short, in the middle of the street, with no traffic between him and the red light, in order for Smith to run into the back of him on purpose.
These allegations were despite me saying that news reports had said that they have footage of cars in front of the H2 lining up to the redlight. The videos just werent published yet. Yet they said i was lying and they didnt believe it.
well a few hours later they posted the videos with the footage of the cars in front of the Hummer(which caused Hayes to stop). This is the pic i posted. The hummer is right behind the last car in that lineup. Watch the full video on WWL to get a sense of how close they were.

The hummer is directly behind that line of cars. Several in this thread went on for hours about Hayes break checking Smith, or that Hayes stopped for no reason. Some even went on to say hayes stopped in an attempt at insurance fraud.
The angle in LE's pic shows Hayes stopped due to taffic stopped at the light. Some have still argued against this

We don't have any facts as to whether Hayes had his gun drawn or that smith was aware that Hayes was armed before Smith allegedly says "I've got a gun."

one of the witness videos claims Smith announced first he had a gun, not Hayes.
