Thank God for the sign on i 10 prior to the Rosedale exit .. we were able to exit there and go through central and up and around to get to 55.
Good news is we did t have to enter 55 from that short arse off ramp on 10.

That’s for planned work on the widening project. Looking at the cameras, they’re allowing people on at Washington St.

You don’t remember back in 2012? when both I-10 & I-12 were shut down in both directions? They ended up having to blow up the 18 wheeler on one of the interstates.

The worst one I remember was when a power line was down across both directions back in 97ish?
I-10 was a parking lot. No one moved an inch for hours. I was pissed that cops weren’t preventing people from getting on the interstate to let all of us on it to be able to get off.
Total gridlock. I think it took me 5 hours to get past the split from downtown BR.

I don't think Google Maps accounted for the new road construction that will now be required on this stretch of I-10 in Baton Rouge because of the wreck. I think some asphalt was scratched.

Sometimes, especially around this time of year, I really miss living in Louisiana a lot. And then I see this kind of shite.

Believe it or not this stuff happens all over the country. The difference is other cities have ways to get around it, while Baton Rouge didnt want those ways in their backyard so it didnt get built.
