Author lives in Ohio. She is a Yale (BA), and University of Texas (MA, PhD) graduate. This is the pedigree for a very progressive person.

Probably, but has nothing to do with this hack article. I'm glad we are moving a bit back towards normal. I have zero issues with most of the gays/lesbians ect but I think we have lost our mind Covid and post Covid. 500 different genders and sexualities is kind of insane.

The scene where Jon Hamm shuts down the renewable energy nerd was incredible

The women will always find a way to spend it.

Annoying AF but nice to look at
And that’s why women like that win in the end.
Men are so dumb.

She might be the hottest actress in Hollywood.

Ain’t nobody reading all that shite.
Landman was a disappointment but not a bad show, we were wanting the tough side of the oil/gas industry.
But got some Hollywood unrealistic bullshite, I watched it and would again though.

[Want To Watch But No Paramount+]
Hear it’s a solid show that has some traction for the future of the show. Sheridan overall is very good at what he does.

She is the smoke show on the show.
Have you seen the actress that plays the trashy Latina? She’s hot AF when not in the show makeup and wardrobe.

I like the show but the only absolute truth in the show is that we can’t live without the oil.. that fact will never Change in our lifetime or my grandchildren’s who aren’t more than a dream
Not surprised some whiny liberal can’t accept that

It was. The sad thing is that in real life, he cant say that shite. Not in a room like that. God Forbid you piss off the ESG mafia. Sadder still, they all want to because like Monty, all of those execs know what the real story is when it comes to renewables.

There is more truth and accuracy in this show than you either would like, or are capable of, acknowledging.
I grew up in this business, dodged it for the first decade out of LSU, then got sucked in. The last 22 years of my “professional” life has been spent working alongside roustabouts and roughnecks all the way up to our C suite koolaid drinkers. The portrayal of the personalities from the trenches to the top floor of the office are spot on.
Yeah - there are some technical/operational BS elements in the show; and certainly, we aren’t the HSE outlaws as portrayed (at least, not now)…but the personality types, the interactions, the lifestyle - for the Odessas and Willistons - pretty spot on.

Did Young and the Restless end or something? Why do we need another Sheridan show?
Posted on 1/18/25 at 11:09 am to Galactic Inquisitor
Well, there has been no Young and the Restless since the Bells left.

Let's see I've had people come in the door with no vital signs and leave the hospital a few weeks later. Stapled a right ventricle that had a knife go through it when we couldn't sew it ( never been done before).

but in general, it’s very funny to imagine Landman fans listening to Boomtown, hoping to keep the feeling alive
You can actually feel the disdain the author has for these people throughout the article.

I was never more jealous than I was of Jonathan Moxon...

They need to write in Karl as Billy Bob’s lost twin who he hires to work on a rig and becomes a hero only to be later killed by Dwight Yoakam who Billy Bob subsequently kills.
