No joke? I was always led to believe that no life insurance policy will pay for a suicide no matter the circumstances. I have a whole life insurance policy I need to take another look at then.

Just threaten to give testimony against Hillary. You’ll never know what happened.

family may not get life insurance if it was a suicide. Maybe he thought they would think it was an accident.

I underwrite life insurance (I do not sell it) and all insurance companies will pay for suicide after a 2 yr contestability period (at least every company I have ever heard of)

Yes, after 2 years it pays out for suicide. About the only thing excluded is dying while committing a crime or during war. Hell, you could start smoking after year 2 and die of cancer and it will still pay out.

How long for an unrecoverable body lost at sea?
There are specialty companies that write high risk life insurance.

I think others have answered this sufficiently. I'll refrain from divulging that information.

Tandem jumps typically are made with the student and instructor in separate harnesses that are attached, with the instructor secured behind the student. The instructor wears the parachute and controls its deployment during free-fall and landings.
o he rigged it differently so that the tourist had the parachute? Or did the student have a spare chute that the instructor activated before unbuckling from him?
No. The student's harness buckles/clips onto the instructors harness. In this case the instructor loosened his straps and slipped out of his harness, but the student was still attached to the canopy via the instructor's harness.

In this image you can see the points of connection.
