The shell-shocked woman whose bitter divorce ended in an Upper East Side fireball said yesterday she was devastated by her wacko ex-husband’s apparent decision to blow up the four-story townhouse they once shared.
A grim-faced Cordula Hahn told The Post she was struggling with the suspect’s scorched-earth response to their split.
“It’s tragic,” Hahn said as she left the Washington Heights apartment she has called home since the divorce. “It’s tough,” she said, adding that she is doing “as well as can be expected.”
Hahn’s ex-husband, Dr. Nicholas Bartha, remained in critical condition yesterday, a day after he allegedly used a rigged gas line to destroy the building that housed his office and home. It was apparently a spiteful suicide bid designed to keep the property out of Hahn’s hands.

Although most life insurance policies exclude dangerous pursuits like sky diving
Life insurance to cover you while skydiving is simple to get, the premiums run around $3.00 to $7.00 annually per $1000.00 of coverage. The premium varies with how many jumps you make per year, and what your rating is. There are about 3 million jumps done annually resulting in a average of 15 fatalities. It would be difficult to make a statistically comparison, but its probably safer than riding a motorcycle.

Guy decides to commit suicide and involves an innocent random person. Awful.

Technically, it was semi-tandem.

I’m guessing that about half a mile into his fall he regretted everything
