Almost a decade after Hurricane Katrina, much of New Orleans has been rebuilt. But as photographer Seph Lawless documents, Six Flags New Orleans remains neglected, slowly breaking down as nature retakes the park. The site now serves as an eerie reminder of the destruction that all but destroyed the city in 2005.

When it was Jazzland it was BECOMING to be that way on that tail end, but Six Flags maintained it first class.

Every time I've driven by there over the past few years, there are always cranes and a bunch of work trucks. I figured they were tearing everything down for scrap

I can't believe someone hasn't worked a deal to get the scrap metal. There has to be tons of good steel in there.

I bought a season pass the first year and went once. The fricking trash there made it unbearable. Thug life thought it was a daycare for their worthless spawn.
