I hate dating. Hate dating apps. Hate the game. Just get yourself into a fwb situation and ride that out for awhile. I don't want kids (am 33), so when I do get serious about dating I guess I need to find one that isn't 'against the clock.'

Yep, I took a year off after my divorce. Just had no interest in dating again. There is definitely no shortage of 40 year old single women once your hormones start kicking again.

Kind of same. Met some really good ones. Have to eventually decide if you want to be a step dad or not. Lol. I met a couple early 20's women and I think the generational gap is a bit too much for anything but the obvious.

I enjoyed the hell out of dating until I turned 30, and it came to a happy conclusion.
I imagine if I hadn't eventually met the wife I'd have continued to enjoy the big city dating and partying.
If you don't like the over 30 crowd, date younger. If you don't like the women in the area, move.

Depends where you live for sure. In metro areas, especially those with large universities and medical centers you shouldn't have any trouble.
And for the OP, the period in my early 30s when I was single was the best dating time of my. Low pressure, better conversation, more adventurous and experienced women.

I divorced in October. Just now really getting into it in the last couple months. I've found a girl I like and she will have my focus until it doesn't work anymore. I have zero desire/energy to balance multiple women.

I’m in a very happy relationship for 3 months so far. Just dealing with her major medical problems but I’m there for her and love her very much. The sex is great too

Need to specify if this is LA or not. There is huge difference dating in Pineville versus NOLA vs Nashville. In a large metro area, there are tons of over 30 women with no kids.
I met my wife right around 30 so I have been out for too long. My late 20s dating in Dallas was the most fun dating years. I imagine it would have been really good until my mid-30s but alas I met the right woman. My single friends in their 30s are having a blast.
