I don’t care about me... but it’s waking up my young kids who I’m trying to get Santa crap ready for. Completely disrespectful to do fireworks on Christmas Eve IMO

Do you live by rednecks? If so, EVERYDAY is a potential opportunity for fireworks

We used to make a fireworks run on Christmas Eve with my dad and uncles while my mom and her sisters would go to midnight mass.

Disrespectful to whom? Santa?

Or is this a case of “people aren’t being considerate to what I personally don’t like?”

As if the entire neighborhood has to time their entire celebration around your Christmas prep schedule

My idiot neighbors will fire them off on a random Thursday night. I don't usually mind when everyone is off, but school nights peeve me a bit.

At midnight, adults will toast with champagne, while children toast with hot chocolate, and families go outside to watch fireworks displays. A traditional Peruvian Christmas meal will include turkey, tamales, salads, applesauce, and a sweet bread called Panettone. Gifts are exchanged either before or after the meal and family members usually hug, kiss, and thank the gift-giver before opening their present.

Peruvian culture is one of many.

Same reason it’s a bonfire night: to light the way for Papa Noel so he can find his way through the swamp to bring toys to all the good little baws and bawettes.

Have been going off for the last few hours. Still sporadically firing off. I am 5 minutes from one hell of a trashy trailer park.
