Not many by me tonight.
Yesterday was probably close to a new years eve compared to lame places around the country. Lot's of people shoot of a few when the Saints score and then after the win the hood went nuts.

If it were Friday, May 22nd I might agree. Or even Dec. 31!

But it is kind of the ONE night a year where it’s UNIVERSALLY understood that young kids need to go to sleep early. God forbid rednecks forego drunkenly blowing shite up on Christmas Eve.

Or maybe, just maybe, it’s the fact that setting them off is illegal and has nothing to do with inconveniencing someone’s schedule or their likes or dislikes...

When I was young, if someone gave you fireworks for Christmas that was the best goddamn gift you could get... Because then you had more firepower to play firecracker war with your cousins after everyone opens gifts.

I hope all my new neighbors in Greystone enjoyed the show. I dont go past 8pm since we have 3 kids. It will happen annually.

gotta say, being stuck in a chair has to be a major disadvantage in a fireworks war

Well I’m not really sure what NOPD would do even if I called. It seems to be coming from all over the city.

Where are you? I've heard nothing like fireworks in the Madisonville Covington area. Didn't realize Christmas Eve fireworks were a thing. Seems trashy.

Now I see you're in Nola. First thirty years there and never recall Christmas Eve fireworks. Must be new trashy folks.
