He was actually able to tell her to calm down without feeling the wrath.
Notes taken.

I don’t know if there’s an animal I’d be more afraid of charging me like that. Maybe a lion but that gorilla is terrifying

He was not going to hurt that child.

Not intentionally, but human babies are very fragile in comparison to gorilla babies. Harambe could have easily killed that kid by accident.

It really just depends how you want to go:

Ripped limb from limb with likely a few bites from massive canines

Or

Clawed to death and a likely death grip bite around the jugular.

The lion would likely end it much more quickly.

What will get missed in all of this is the fact that gorilla's have a better structure to keeping peace then us humans.

The dominant male went after the aggressor and neutralized the situation right there.
Just like warlords in Zaire. So efficient.

When that big baw turned and started running, I got nervous for my own safety on this side of the monitor.

Cool video. The aggressor wasn’t that serious. Shoulder in to hip and drove the legs. That’s how you tackle. The little one held on for dear life.

The Gorillas seem to have more sense and restraint than most Humans.

He had no intention to hurt the other gorilla, just making it known he is the alpha and if you frick around you’re gonna find out

That gorilla is better at being a cop than most cops. Stopped the fight, held the suspect until they calmed down, and let them go w/o any lasting damage.
