That stretch of Siegen has been trash for a while now. It's easy to hide it during the day with how many people are out there.

No, you are not correct, Sir. That is retarded. They have a section 8 complex already, Siegen Villiage. They just converted it from Section 8 to market rate. Geeez ....

It was in the works in 2014. I left BR that year and thought it was completed. I guess not.

The thing that kills me about section 8 and the like is that these people are living in better complexes than about 60% of people in BR. Brand new gated complexes as a reward for being irresponsible.

I work my arse off and share an older condo with a friend.

I realize the Advocate sucks but, even for them, that is a crap article. It has no more info than your crappy OP. Damn blind links should be bannable.

May that thug rot in Hell for eternity. Took my good friend's amazing son from them at the beginning of his life. While the kid was being a Good Samaritan to a to a young lady he worked with.

So this productive member of society was taken from us by a criminal thug POS-surprised no one marched for him, made him a national hero. There was certainly much less attention on this unarmed victim gunned down ruthlessly in a parking lot than has been given the career ARMED criminal that was struggling to resist his arrest. The media covered it briefly, then moved on, chalking it up as just another routine murder. Routine. Meanwhile, we have national news covering this very non-routine event as the top story for over a week and counting. Our society is upside down, and we have national leaders leading us deeper into demise every day.

Uhhhhhm....have you spent much time in and around section 8 complexes? I mean like really in and around them? Not driving by on the highway. While it pisses me off that there are even section 8 complexes, they are by no means living better than 60% of the people in Baton Rouge.
