The Baton Rouge Police Department has arrested two men accused of engaging in sexual activity under the U.S.S. Kidd on Tuesday, July 4.

Jerry Hatfield, 57, and Matthew Norris, 48, were charged with sexual acts prohibited in public, officials said.

According to police, when they arrived at the ramp on S. River Rd., (U.S.S. Kidd) around 1:20 p.m., a witness said they observed the two men with their pants down caressing each other.

A proud navy tradition.

That phrasing implies this was a peaceful, officially sanctioned gathering of law abiding citizens.

Right. They make it sound like it’s the same as the BR Cars and Coffee group that meets at 8 AM(!) and consists of a bunch of sweet old men.

As much as I do not want to see it, two dudes blowing each other under a bridge concerns me a lot less than bystanders getting shot in a Siegen Lane shopping center.

Yes, I don't believe prevention of 2 old queens blowing each other in the dark under an historical naval vessel is high on the priority list for anyone in BR at the moment.

In this case it means "worn-out", "heavily used", beaten-up", etc. While it doesn't refer to STDs, I still wouldn't get in one without wiping it down thoroughly with disinfectant first.

But, but, but Siegen is a safe area!!!

Compared to the rest of the city it is definitely safer. That’s not saying much though because all of BR is a cesspool

One of those homeless are gonna get creamed pretty soon there. They walk/ride bikes on Siegen and cross the roads in front of cars without looking. I almost hit one last week with headphones on.

BR has reached the point to where the only thing that would "possibly" save it is leadership with the temperament and tolerance level of Saddam Hussein.

Too many out of control shitbags who refuse to live under the rules of a civil society.
