Vortens or Gerber Viper are solid. ADA height for the win.
Co worker hated me for the following:
Dumped 2 bags of those tiny, dried shrimp into his dash vents of the company truck. That Louisiana summer was awful for him. I also did the zip ties to the driveshaft of the same truck. Cut all of the index fingers off of his gloves.

$3K incentive to live off campus

Does anyone have any information concerning the $3K incentive for incoming freshmen at LSU to live off campus? Where to apply? Saw it on the news a few days ago and can’t find any links for it. We contacted student housing and haven’t heard anything yet.

Weber all day. I found a lightly used Weber kettle on marketplace for $60. Weber performer. Those things sell for $400.
I don’t speak to my father. Parents divorced for 23 years now. He married the woman he cheated with. Whatever. My issue is he has totally removed himself from my kid’s lives as well as my siblings’ kids lives. He hasn’t been to any milestone events even though he has been invited. He has totally shunned his own blood for grandkids who aren’t his..there are other issues but this one is the biggest grievance I have. You can’t speak to him about it because he avoids any confrontation. It is absolutely amazing what shame will do to a person.
Just had one a month ago. The doctor told me he mixes his prep liquid with beer. I don’t have to go back for 5 years. I’ll try that next time.
I worked operations. The only thing I know about the engineering side is most of the time-their education level far exceeded their level of intelligence. I worked with a few that were worth their salt-but most are diversity hires. That’s the truth.
I don’t know who you are talking to..if you are hired as an operator-you make overtime. You will be a represented employee and will make the agreed upon wage with the labor contract. As to your “life work balance”-throw that out the window. You agree to work at the double cross-your life will be what they dictate. The only guaranteed time off is scheduled vacation- and I’ve seen that canceled due to people calling in. You want that XOM dollar-you have to pay that price.
I get that. But at the double cross-it truly is the only way to climb the ladder.
Yes. To sum up employment there-it is a shitty job with good insurance. You can work as much as you’d like or work when you don’t want to work (more common with forced overtime). Great benefits. shite leadership from the plant manager all the way down to the STLs. If you’re white-embrace the DEI promotions and all of the bullshite “clubs” they have to force diversity down your throat. Expect to pull more weight for the minority employees as they aren’t really capable of pulling their own. The equipment is old and has not been maintained. What is replaced on turnaround doesn’t last. If you kiss arse really well-you’ll fit right in. Just my experience.

Check the strainer where the supply elbow connects. Possibly plugged with debris

You can absolutely turn a single vanity into a double. There are multiple options with the water lines. Is copper stubbed out of your wall? Pex? If copper is present-you can remove the individual shutoffs and install a dual outlet 3/8x1/2 compression shut off valve; or you can sweat a tee on the bull of the fitting and install individual lines and shutoffs to each vanity. If there is pex-do as described above and install tee.
The drain is simple-remove old trap adapter and install a wye fitting. Run individual drain lines to each one with the proper pitch.
I’ve been on BP meds since my early 30s. Made lifestyle changes and stayed elevated. Started taking cayenne pepper pills twice a day and has made a difference in my numbers. Look up cayenne pepper benefits and try it out.
My wife, brother, and mom-absolutely. My dad-absolutely not. His business failed and it kills him to see my company thriving.
Between shoe and tub. You’ll see it from the top when installing trim.
I, too, have a chiller. Pool is roughly 15k gallons. Pool temp at 86°. Electric bill has not increased by much. Best investment I have made in my pool since installing.
Your friend doesn’t understand businesses, then. You have the drive, the cost of the material, the helper’s wage, insurance, etc. The time spent on his job is time away from somewhere else with the opportunity to make more money. He complains about $150/hour….call a handyman. And when the handyman’s repair fails-call a licensed, insured professional to fix it.
GenPro is my go to. Installed my generator and maintain it yearly.
